Consilium Selesmar says its new NavBat ATA radar complies fully with the new SOLAS Chapter V carriage requirements for ships of 3,000g and above. The unit features modular architecture and comes with a choice of either S or X frequency band transceivers (both up-mast and down-mast), 406 or 204mm (16 or 12 ins) CRT displays, TFT LCD displays, master-slave inter-switching and interfacing with ECDIS.

The unit complies with IMO Resolutions A 222 (VII), A 477(XII), MSC 64(67) and A 278(VIII) and with IEC Standards 60872-2, 60936-1, 61162 and 60945 Version 3. In its HSC version, it also meets the requirements of IMO Resolution A 820(19) and IEC 60936-2 for high speed craft, says Consilium Selesmar.
