Marine Software has supplied Marine Planned Maintenance for Windows to Byron Marine for MV Dorada, the Falkland Islands Fishery Protection vessel. Marine Software carried out a skeleton setup of the planned maintenance database creating a planned maintenance (PM) JobCard for each item on the master survey list. Byron?s own staff will complete the PM setup for the vessel, adding routine maintenance tasks to those already created PM JobCards and adding extra JobCards for non-survey items. The system has also been installed onboard HMS Dasher, an Archer Class vessel. British Aerospace set up the planned maintenance database and some modifications to the standard program were commissioned and delivered. The Warship Support Agency has indicated its intention to order a further 15 systems to be installed onboard other vessels of the class, says Marine Software. Bermuda Marine and Ports has ordered an Office Planned Maintenance system for two ferries and two tugs and Viking River Cruises has taken delivery of Marine Planned Maintenance for Windows for Viking Danube bringing the total number of systems delivered to them to five, says Marine Software.
