Tribon solves name game

Kockums Computer Systems, has announced that it is changing its name to Tribon Solutions.The move follows a change in ownership last summer as a result of which it is now owned by a Swedish pension fund.

As well as reflecting the different ownership arrangements, the new name underlines the connection between the company and the Tribon brand of CAD/CAE/CAM software. It is also planned that Tribon Solutions will in future move into other IT-related areas and will set up a management consultancy division to support customers implementing software, to make sure they achieve full benefits from Tribon, the company says.
