Portable Deso from STN Atlas

STN Atlas Marine Electronics has extended its range of survey echosounders with the introduction of the Deso 300, a portable unit designed for operation aboard small survey vessels and inflatable watercraft.

The unit offers operating frequencies of 210, 200, 40 and 33kHz. It features sealed keypad controls, integral recorder, digitiser 217mm – 250m, depending on transducer arrangements, and resolution is 28mm, says STN Atlas.

The unit is computer-controllable for remote operation, says the company, and can be interfaced with processing equipment and other sensors such as digital heave compensation units.
