Seaworx to convert seismic ships

Seaworx, part of the Wijsmuller group in the Netherlands, has acquired three seismic survey vessels from Western Geco in the US. The vessels in question are the Western Orient, Western Polaris and Western Aleutian. One is to be converted for use in the cable-laying sector, a second vessel will be converted into a utility vessel, and the third will remain active as a survey vessel.
