Furuno looks to navigation and communication

Furuno will feature the world premiere for voyage data recorder model VR-5000 and automatic identification system model AS-100. Also, the satellite compass model SC-60/120, which provides accurate and steady satellite based heading information for shipborne equipment, will be shown. An upgraded Voyager integrated bridge system ? now with engine monitoring capabilities ? will also be shown, along with Furuno?s new Inmarsat B Satcom, with integrated 64 kbps High Speed Data (HSD) modem and colour LCD TFT Terminal unit and a new compact GMDSS console model, RT-1800, with new DSC and latest INM-C equipment.
