Castrol launches new oil to meet demand

Castrol Marine?s response to the higher demands being placed on turbocharger lubricating oil is the introduction of Aircol SR68. It is a synthetic oil formulated from a polyalphaolefin base. Castrol says it gives enhanced thermal and oxidation stability leading to extended oil life, reduced friction, lower bearing temperatures and extended bearing life. ABB Turbo Systems has approved the product as a special low friction synthetic oil.
