Gunnebo extends lifting point range

New from Gunnebo is a rotating lifting point (RLP) which can turn freely through 360deg. and swivel 180deg. and is equipped with an open D-ring to allow the attachment of large lifting elements. It is part of the company?s GrabIQ series of multifunctional components for lifting. The unit which, says the company, is self-aligning when multiple lifting points are used is also designed for cargo lashing and towing. It is available with installation bolts from M8 to M24 size and has a maximum lifting capacity of 3.5t. Also new is a lifting eye bolt which has a flattened section to accept the Berglok chain coupler. It is designed for lifting machinery, machine parts, and engines and is available in sizes from M16 to M36. It has a lifting capacity of up to 4t. For straight lifts the unit can be used at four times the specified working load, says Gunnebo.
