The dates for the 24th annual Motor Ship Marine Propulsion Conference have been changed to avoid a clash with Danish public holidays ? so mark 10-11 April 2002 in your diary to be in Copenhagen for the marine technology event of the year. Whatever your interest in ship propulsion – whether it?s design, building, operation and maintenance of prime movers or of related systems and components ? the annual Motor Ship Conference cannot be missed. Past Motor Ship conferences have hosted spirited debate during question sessions, breaks and evening gathering, and this year?s gathering will be no exception with significant sessions on topics ranging from new engine projects to smokeless operation and emissions, alternative fuels, lubrication and contra-rotation options featuring on the programme. And, if you would like to present a paper before some 200 of your industry colleagues, you can still participate, so please contact the editor, Dan Thisdell, on tel +44 (0)208 722 6041, fax +44 (0)208 722 6097, e-mail d.thisdell@cumulusmedia.co.uk or by post at The Motor Ship, Anne Boleyn House, 9-13 Ewell Road, Cheam, Surrey SM3 8BZ United Kingdom. Delegate rate is £795 plus VAT, which includes a year?s subscription to The Motor Ship. To book you place as a delegate, contact Christine Pullen, Cumulus Business Media, Anne Boleyn House, 9-13 Ewell Road, Cheam, Surrey SM3 8BZ, fax +44 (0)208 722 6097, e-mail c.pullen@cumulusmedia.co.uk.
