European Suezmax launch

Saturday saw the launch of the first of two Suezmax tankers that Croatia?s Brodosplit Shipyard is building for Tankerska Plovidba. The 166,300 dwt vessel, called Alan, is on course for delivery to the Croatian owner in October this year, says a shipyard official. The ship, along with its sister vessel, is believed to be the largest tanker on order in Europe.
