Jiangnan secures orders for 15 ships

Jiangnan Shipyard in China has recently secured orders for 15 ships, including an FPSO, totalling just under 1 million dwt. As at the end of June this year, the shipbuilder?s order book stood at over 1.5 million dwt. For the first half of 2003, Jiangnan shipyard has achieved an output of $230m which represents a 32% increase compared to the same period last year.
