Bohai built largest ship

Bohai Shipbuilding in China has recently delivered its largest newbuilding in the shape of a 159,000 DWT Suezmax crude oil carrier. This was the first unit in a three-ship series ordered by Cosco and is named Da Ming Hu. The newbuilding is the largest ship ever built by the shipyard. Before the Suezmax tanker, the biggest ships the yard had delivered were 46,000 dwt vessels. At present, the shipbuilder has seven Capesize bulk carriers and a number of tankers on its order book.
