Bohai clinches three MR tankers

Nanjing Tankers, part of the Changjiang Shipping, placed an order for three 46,000DWT product carriers with Bohai Shipbuilding. Ship particulars are 185 metre long, 32.2 metre wide and 18.2 metre deep with a draught of 10.2 metres. The newbuildings will be classed by CCS and they will have a service speed of 14 knots. Total contract price is believed to be more than $ 80 million. They will be delivered in 2006 and 2007. Bohai shipyard has completed seven 35,000DWT to 46,000DWT class tankers for Changjiang Shipping during the past ten years.
