HHI delivers boxship and tanker

Hyundai Heavy Industries in South Korea delivered a 2,550 TEU container ship to Blue Star of Germany. The newbuilding is named Valentina Star and measures 210 metre long, 30.20 metres wide with a depth of 16.70 metres. Powered by a two-stroke Sulzer 7RTA72U-B main diesel engine, the vessel has a service speed of 21 knots.

The shipyard also delivered the Ceram Sea, a 105,000 DWT tanker, to Tanker Pacific. Ship particulars are 248 metres long, 43 metres wide and a depth of 20.20 metres and is powered by a MAN B&W 7S60MC main diesel engine giving a service speed of 15.1 knots.
