CSIC establishes ship design research center

China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC) has established a Ship Design Research Center funded by eight Chinese ship research, production and trading companies with a capital investment of $8.2million. The center will focus on research and development of offshore shipbuilding processes, design and technology. Head office is in Beijing with a branch office in Dalian.
