Wynn Marine to launch advanced new window wiper and control systems

Importer

Wynstruments, now merged with B. Hepworth & Co, will launch an updated

versions of its best-selling ?straight line? window wiper and a brand new

digital control system at the SMM 2004 exhibition.

The Type D MKIV Straight line wiper is based on the highly successful Type D MKIII wiper. In this case the powerful AC induction motors are externally mounted in an IP68 enclosure, which has several built in design enhancements to make the system more cost efficient, lighter and easier to install. Utilising its 50 years of experience in the marine industry, Wynn Marine has been able to create the wiper system using standard off-the-shelf parts, enabling a reduction in costs without a drop in standards. As with all its wiper systems, the Type D MKIV uses only the highest grade materials and is manufactured using precise and quality controlled methods.

Wynn also enjoys an excellent reputation in the area of wiper control, and plans to build on this with the launch of an exciting new system at SMM: the Series 6000. The system is based on the Series 3000 digital control network, which has become the company?s most popular control system since it was launched over two years ago, but features extra functionality and is, overall, a more cost effective package. It can control up to 50 wiper systems individually or in groups and features either a compact touch-pad control panel or a fully programmable touch-screen interface.
