Aker gets another PSV order from DOF ASA

Norway-based DOF ASA has confirmed the conditional contract to build an MT 6009 Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) at Aker Brattvaag, a company in the Aker Yards Group. The contract is worth approximately $20 million and delivery is scheduled for the second half of 2005.

The MT 6009 is one of a range of offshore vessels designed by the Alesund-based Marin Teknikk AS and the MT 6009 is a 3,300dwt, 73.50 metre long PSV with a service speed of 14.5 knots and suitable for operations world-wide.
