MMM plans ship repair facility in Iraq

Malaysian Merchant Marine (MMM) has entered into negotiations to form a joint venture (JV) with Iraqi Oil Tankers (IOTC) to operate as a bunker trading supplier in Umm Qasr in Basrah and all the oil terminals and ports in the Iraqi territorial waters as well as the Arabian gulf. In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, MMM said the JV would also be involved in establishing ship repairing facilities and marine supply centres in Iraq and neighbouring countries
