Jebsen takes up options

The Norwegian Jebsen Group has excercised options for another two 33,500 DWT open hatch bulk carriers from Jiangdu Yahai Shipbuilding in Shanghai. These five-hold ships will be fitted with 30 tons cranes and grabs.

The latest newbuildings and two further options were attached to the original two ship contract signed in 2003 for delivery in 2005 to be followed in 2006 by the second pair.
