Spanish shipyard eyes overseas markets

The Spanish shipyard Izar Ferrol is looking for overseas markets that will generate revenues at least $24 billion. At present the Ferrol yard, described as one of the few global shipyards able to construct the most up-to-date frigates in the world, is targeting the Bulgarian market as well as other countries including Mexico and Argentina. Currently, high ranking officials at the Bulgarian Defence Ministry and the state owned shipping company Navigation Maritime Bulgare were reviewing the Izar Ferrol offers.
