PTT joins TOTAL

TOTAL Lubrifiants and Thai oil major PTT have signed a partnership agreement

covering the sales of marine lubricants to Thai ship owners and the supply

of marine lubricants in Thai ports. PTT, the largest oil company in

Thailand, becomes the tenth partner to join TOTAL Lubmarine’s global supply

network. “The arrival of this important new partner will reinforce the reach

and the strength of our logistics network whilst delivering unrivalled local

service to our shipping. Having a new partner join the network is an

important event, particularly one in such an economically dynamic area, we

believe this marks the beginning of an important long-term partnership,”

says David Bleasdale, general manager of TOTAL Lubmarine.

The Thai economy is reportedly growing at 6 to 7% per annum, and

ports are a significant driver of that growth. As a result, the amount of ships

calling at major ports in Thailand, and the demand for marine lubricants, is
