First export for Himsen S-type engine

Hyundai Heavy Industries secured its first export contract for the Himsen S-type engine H17/28 developed late last year. The order for six 5H17/28 medium speed diesel gensets was placed by the Turkish shipping company Kaptanoglu for installation aboard the four 20,000DWT bulk carriers being built at Torgem Shipbuilding in Turkey. The order includes options for six more engines.
