K-Line books Chinese Capesize

The Japanese shipping company K-Line has ordered a 177,000 DWT Capesize bulk carrier from Chinese shipbuilder China State Shipbuilding Corp. (CSSC). This newbuilding, designed in China, is the largest ship of its type to be built in the country to date. Construction will take place at CSSC?s Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Company and delivery is scheduled in the second half of 2008.
