New PSV for GE Shipping

Great Eastern Shipping Company Ltd (GE Shipping) in Mumbai, India, has taken delivery of a new platform supply vessel (PSV), named ?’Malaviya Twenty Four?’ from the Indian shipbuilder, Bharati Shipyard. The vessel was contracted by the company in September 2003 and is the fifth PSV in GE?s fleet.

With the delivery of the newbuilding, GE Shipping’s offshore division’s fleet has grown to 32 units. The shipping company has currently 11 vessels on order, 5 tankers and 6 OSVs with delivery spread over the next two years, the company said.
