Iranian bulker launched

?Iran Bojnurd?, the second of six Panamax bulk carriers ordered by Iran from the Chinese shipbuilder Jiangnan Shipyard, has been launched in Shanghai.

The first of the ordered ships, named ?Iran Tabas?, was launched one month ago. The Chinese shipbuilder plans to launch the remaining four ships at two-month intervals. The total contract is valued at $116 million. Measuring 225m long and 32m wide, the 73,100 DWT bulkers cost $116 million in total.
