Russe launches German bulk carrier

Russe, the Bulgarian shipbuilder, recently launched its latest newbuilding. Ordered by the German ship owner, Briese Schiffahrts, the ?Ditzum? is a dry cargo vessel measuring 100m long and 14m wide and is the eighth ship that Russe has built for the Leer-based shipping company.

The shipyard announced plans to launch 135m long ships in 2007, a move that is expected to expand the company’s positions on the international market.
