Chinese shipbuilders win new orders

Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding secured an order for a 100,000 dwt FPSO from China National Offshore Oil Corporation. Ship particulars are 232.5m in length, 46m in breadth and 24.1m in depth and delivery is scheduled on December 2007.

Guangzhou Wenchong Shipyard won a contract to build a 4,200m3 dredger from Shanghai Port Bureau. Ship particulars are 103.1m in length, 18.8m in breadth and 7.8m in depth with a draft of 6.4m and will be delivered in late 2006.
