Hyundai Mipo Dockyard won three 47,000DWT product carriers valued at $138 million from a Liberian shipowner for delivery from 2007 to July 2008.

Choi Kil Sun, president and CEO of the South Korean shipbuilder, said that HMD aims to build 70 ships annually with turnover of $3.8 billion in 2010.

Meanwhile, STX Shipbuilding secured two 9,000m3 ethylene carriers from a Greek shipowner for delivery in 2008.
