Another PSV for Aker

Aker Yards has confirmed an optional agreement with Volstad Shipping AS, Ålesund, for the building of a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) worth approximately NOK 250 million. Delivery is scheduled for September 2007 from Aker Yards, Brattvaag where the final outfitting will take place when the Romanian built hull arrives.

The 92.30 m long vessel has the designation ST 216 L-CD by Skipsteknisk AS, and will have a 5,000 tonne cargo capacity.
