Quartet ConRo order for Flensburger

Flensburger shipyard in Germany has signed contracts for four ships plus six options of its new design ConRo 200 with a European Shipowner. The price of the newbuildings is not being disclosed.

The main parameters of the new ConRo ferries, type ConRo 200, are a length of 180.89 m, a breadth of 26.20 m, a draught of 7.40 m, a deadweight of 13,080 tonne and a speed of 19 knots. Trailer lane metres will be 2,604 m. The fourth vessel of this series will be delivered third quarter 2009.
