Odense delivers Gjertrud

The Odense Steel Shipyard presented its latest newbuilding for the A.P. Moller – Maersk Group. The 7,000TEU post-Panamax boxship was named Gjertrud M?rsk and is the fourth ship in a new series of updated container ships operated with extensive automation. With its 12-cylinder Wärtsilä RT-flex96C diesel engine from Doosan Engine, which develops 68,640kW, the newbuilding will enter Maersk Sealand?s worldwide liner service.
