Kogas plans four LNG tankers

Korea Gas Corp., the world’s biggest buyer of liquefied natural gas, is seeking a $938 million loan to purchase four LNG tankers for a joint operation it is setting up with three other Korean companies. “We’re trying to broaden our LNG business and secure LNG supply,” said Lee Seung, head of the LNG shipping team at Korea Gas.
