ABG Shipyard wins Cyprus order

The privately owned Indian shipbuilder ABG Shipyard has secured a contract worth $30 million for the construction of three 90 tonne bollard pull Anchor Handling Tugs from Lamnalco of Cyprus. The shipbuilder has already delivered five vessels to Lamnalco in the recent past and two more are under construction for them at the company’s yard at Surat.

The three AHTs will be delivered towards end 2007/early 2008 from the date of payment.
