R?kke wants Lenin shipyard

Kjell Inge R?kke of Aker Yards is reportedly interested in buying the former Lenin shipyard in Gdansk, Poland, where the Solidarity movement started back in 1980.

Although the yard is for sale, the labour union is unsure about R?kke’s company. Aker Yards would not comment on the speculation but did not deny the possibility of an eventual purchase.
