Orders roll in for Chinese shipbuilders

Tianjin Xingang Shipyard has received an order for a third rail ferry ship from China Rail. The first ferry will be delivered on July 8 this year with the second unit following towards the end of this year. The newly ordered ship is slated for delivery in August 2008.

Oslo-based Eitzen is rumoured to have order four 13,000 dwt chemical tankers from an unknown Chinese shipbuilder for delivery from 2007 to 2008.
