Hanjin bags another two boxships

Hanjin Heavy Industries & Construction Co in South Korea has received an order to build two 3,100 TEU container vessels from A.P. Moeller-Maersk A/S for $124 million.

The ships will be delivered by the end of September 2009.

With this latest contract, Hanjin Heavy now has an order backlog to build about 50 ships valued at about $4.6 billion.
