Hyundai develops new LNG scaffolding

Hyundai Heavy Industries has developed a new membrane LNG scaffolding system based on modular design. Until now, the shipbuilder has used 256 scaffolding units when installing the membrane containment system in LNG carriers. However, thanks to the module unit method, the number of scaffolding units is reduced to 16. In addition, loading time is reduced from 14 days down to 11 days.
