Pearl ready for trials
Having completed extensive tests and engine trials, the 93,500 gt cruise ship Norwegian Pearl was floated out of the covered building dock of Meyer Werft and berthed at the yard?s outfitting pier where outstanding work will be completed. She will then proceed down the river Ems to carry out sea trials in Eemshaven, Netherlands. The 2,400 passenger newbuilding has a length overall of 294.13 metres, is 32.2 m wide and has a speed of more than 24 knots.
