Daewoo Mangalia, Hudong and Chengxi win bulkers

Daewoo Mangalia Heavy Industries won a new order of four 171,000DWT bulk carriers from Anangel Shipping for delivery in 2009 and 2010. The new order includes an option for two more units.

Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding clinched two 87,000DWT bulk carriers for delivery in February and April 2011 from a Greek ship owner. Ship particulars are 229m in length, 36.8m in breadth and 12.5m in depth.

Shanghai Chengxi secured a newbuilding contract for two 53,000DWT bulk carriers from Cosco. No price or delivery date was revealed.
