Bourbon orders Damen quartet

Bourbon Offshore and Damen Shipyards Gorinchem in Holland have signed a contract for the construction and delivery of four Damen ASD 3213 tugs.

The ASD 3213 is the latest development from Damen and the top of the range with a bollard of in excess of 83 tonnes. The tugs are well equipped and designed for both offshore and terminal operations including fire-fighting equipment based on Fi-Fi I requirements.

The delivery of the first two vessels is scheduled for July 2009 and the remaining two vessels will be delivered in December 2009.
