Halul builds safety standby vessels

Halul Offshore Services (HOSC), the Qatari support services company, has signed a contract with the Singaporean shipbuilder Pacific Ocean Engineering for construction of four safety standby vessels at a cost of approximately $16 million. The ships will be classed by ABS and be built at Pacific Ocean Engineering?s shipyard in Wuxi, China. Halul said the building time is approximately 16 months.
