Daewoo container ship order from Europe

Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering has received a 1.22 trillion-won ($1.3 billion) order to build container ships. The deal from a European company calls for Daewoo to build the 9,100 TEU vessels by 2010

The shipbuilder has won orders worth $7.5 billion to build 48 vessels, including 18 container ships so far this year, including this latest deal.
