Another reefer for Eimskip

Eimskip-CTG in Norway, has received its third newbuild reefer vessel in 18 months. The vessel was built at Myklebust Verft in Norway and is a combined reefer and container vessel. It is 82m long and 16m wide, with maximum cruising speed of 16 knots and deadweight of 2,500 tonnes. It has substantial loading and discharging capacity, about 200 tonnes per hour and is able to carry 1,800 pallets and 28 FEU containers on deck. The vessel has side ports, which enables pallets to be driven directly onboard instead of having to hoist them by crane.

These reefer vessels will play a key role in our goal to expand and improve our door-to-door services between Norway and UK and Benelux with a fixed service schedule.”
