Bulyard to build three ships

Bulgarian shipyard Bulyard Shipbuilding Industry will build three bulk carriers for Bulgarian state-owned shipping company Navigation Maritime Bulgare, after signing deals worth a total of EUR 88.2 million ($118.6 million).

Two of the newbuildings will have a capacity of 55,500 dwt costing EUR 32.6 million apiece and are scheduled for delivery by 2011. The third ship will have a 21,000 dwt capacity, cost EUR 23 million and is slated for delivery by 2009.
