Cosco wins shuttle tanker contracts

COSCO Shipyard Group has received newbuilding contracts worth $422million. One contract for $172 million is to build two shuttle tankers which are slated for delivery in 2010 and 2011. The Chinese shipbuilder has also won several conversion contracts worth $250 million from various customers to convert oil tankers to bulk or ore carriers as well as rig conversions.
