Vietnam building country?s largest tanker
Dung Quat Shipbuilding Company, part of the Vinashin group, recently began the building of the first of three 105,000 dwt oil tankers for PetroVietnam Transportation Company (PV Trans). It is the largest oil tanker to be built in Viet Nam and will be powered by a 13,560 kW engine, have a length of 243.80 metres, a width of 42 metres and was designed by RoK KOMAC company. Delivery is scheduled for November 2009.
