ABG Shipyard delivers Lamnalco AHTS

ABG Shipyard in India has delivered a new Anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessel `Lamnalco Mallard` to the owner Lamnalco Group, UAE. The newbuilding is the third vessel to be delivered to Lamnalco in this financial year. The company has so far delivered 8 vessels, including the present one, to Lamnalco Group. In addition, the company is building another six vessels for the Lamnalco group.

The vessel is 53 metres long, has a 90 ton bollard pull and an azimuth drive propulsion system.

Lamnalco was formed to operate the Jebel Dhanna Oil Terminal for the Abu Dhabi Petroleum Company (ADPC) from its opening in 1963 until the nationalization of the oil company in 1978. The fleet strength of the group is over 90 vessels.
