Brodosplit wins fruit-juice carrier

Croatian shipyard Brodosplit has won another newbuilding order from French ferry operator CMN for a fruit-juice carrier. Last year, the yard secured a contract for a ro-pax from the same owner. No price was disclosed. “The ship is contracted in euro, thus minimising possible fluctuations in US dollar exchange rate,” the statement added.

The Croatian government is selling 99.44% of Brodosplit in a privatisation attempt this year.
