STX France jobs on the line

The management of STX Europe?s St Nazaire yard in France is continuing to hope that they might yet avoid laying off employees during the final four months of the year. Last week, STX France told its 2,500 employees that about 1,500 jobs could go between September and December due to the lack of new orders.
