Daehan inks Capesize pair

The Korean shipbuilder Daehan has recently signed a letter of intent with a shipowner of Marshall Islands on to build two 180,000 DWT bulk carriers at a cost of $70 million each. A formal contract is to be signed soon and, if the order is confirmed, the yard’s orderbook would be extended till the first half of 2011.
